This was a 1.5 year frame off restoration. Every thing was completed at our shop except for the paint and interior. |
The original straight axle front suspension and rear axle were replaced with a Camaro stub and 3:42 rearend.
(To get the stance just right and improve the ride and handling).
The front disc brakes also aid in stopping this head turning two-tone 50 Pickup.
The original Ford Flathead was replaced with a brand new dependable 350 Chevy and a 700R transmission.
We also installed a Vintage Air A/C unit and tilt-tele wheel so Bill can ride in comfort on those hot Texas days and nights.
Updated gauges keep an eye on the vital signs.
Outback we have one of our custom dual exhausts exiting under the bumper. Behind the Texas Tag we have a custom hidden trailer hitch so Bill can haul his Harley trailer.
